This photo resonates with me. I have it as my screen saver on my cell phone as a reminder to do what I love.
Each day there may be some changes about what I love to do, but as a whole I really love creating. Whether it is creating a new post for this blog site, or creating a new recipe to try with my family or simply creating time and space for myself. I am more aware of time these days.
I will be celebrating double nickels for my birthday this year and as best I can, I do not take any of the time I am given for granted. It isn't as if I am leaving this earthly life anytime soon (at least not that I am aware of), it is more about wanting to make this time of my life spent truly doing those things that I love. It takes practice though.
There are times I have to remind myself to do more of what I love and sometimes that means placing myself first...awkward! Yet I know if I put it out there to do what you love, I should probably practice that myself.
As I age, I want to have lived not the just the length, but also the width of my life...here's to the roads less traveled!
